Katy Boardwalk District is Katy’s newest lakefront destination replete with a full-service conference center hotel, luxury loft residences, 155,000 sf of retail, dining and entertainment space, as well as approximately 60,000 sf of office space. All anchored by a newly constructed 90-acre lake and nature preserve.
Located off of Kingsland Boulevard, just south of I-10 in Katy, Texas, the Katy Boardwalk District will be approximately 80-acres of mixed-use development located within walking distance of the Typhoon Texas Waterpark and Katy Mills Mall.
The Katy Boardwalk District hotel will feature a 304-key, full-service hotel, the first full-service hotel in the Katy area. The project is designed and operated under a Hyatt Regency franchise agreement with the Hyatt Hotels Corporation. Construction for the project is expected to be completed by Fall 2023.
Katy Boardwalk District’s full-service four-star 42,940 sf conference center with over 9,000 sf of flexible meeting space will border a newly constructed 90-acre lake and park. Construction for the project is expected to be completed by Fall 2023.
The Katy Boardwalk District will feature two phases of loft-residences. The first phase will consist of 319 units with two resort-style pools, state-of-the-art fitness center, resident lounge, business center, outdoor cabanas, and grilling areas. Boardwalk lofts, developed by Sueba USA Corporation, to be built by Sueba Construction, Inc. And managed by Southhampton Management, Inc., pre-leasing is expected to start early Summer 2021.
Approximately 140 to 150 luxury townhomes and single family homes bordering a newly constructed 90-acre lake and park within walking distance of the boardwalk district’s planned hotel, conference center, surrounded by retail, dining, and entertainment venues. Residents will also be within walking distance of Typhoon Texas and Katy Mills Mall.
